Speciality Glasses

Whether it’s port, sherry or even coffee, having the right glass to serve it is important. We offer a range of speciality glasses for delivery throughout Yorkshire.

Speciality glasses are important when the drinks on the menu at an occasion are special. For example, if you’re offering port as an aperitif, it would be criminal not to use the proper speciality glasses for hire.

What kind of speciality glass hire do we offer?

There are many kinds of speciality glasses for hire available from us. These range from things like sherry glasses for hire to liqueur glasses for hire. These are generally small and a very detailed style of glass befitting the type of drink being served. We also offer speciality coffee glasses for hire for those who want to make the postprandial coffee just a little bit more elegant. These glasses are designed to hold hot liquids and come with a handle to make them easier to hold.

Does speciality glass hire need to be cleaned before it is collected?

The last thing anyone wants to do after a big event or occasion is even think about cleaning all the glassware that has been used. It's not only a pain of a chore though - most glass breakages occur while they are being washed.

This is why we have made it mandatory for all glassware items to have the send it back dirty option added at checkout. The only thing we ask our customers to do is to make sure any liquids or food debris has been emptied from glasses before they are repacked ready for collection.

How do we deliver speciality glass hire?

All speciality glasses for hire are cleaned and checked prior to delivery. We use specialised packing crates to deliver glasses to minimise damage caused in transit. Unfortunately damage can happen, so we always recommend ordering a little bit more than is needed for an event in case the unexpected does occur.

We’ve made it easier than ever to find out how much it is to get event hire delivered. Tap the Expo Hire Yorkshire logo from any page to be taken to the homepage, and once on there tap the carriage calculator button. This clever widget will not only work out what the cost of delivery is to your postcode, but also check which of our branches is closest to you so you don’t pay more than you need to.

We also list all of our possible surcharges on the carriage calculator page; when all details are entered into the checkout every applicable charge is itemised before you before you make payment so there are no hidden surprises.
