What kinds of table hire are there?
We have many different kinds of tables for hire
Banqueting tables (which are also known as trestle tables) are the standard kind of table hired out for events and functions. They’re strong and sturdy with folding metal legs, but they do need covering with tablecloths for more formal affairs.
Poseur tables are used with bar stools to create contemporary spaces to sit, particularly for exhibitions. These are taller than standard tables and can either be square or circular. Some even come with gas lifts so that the height can be adjusted.
Coffee tables are lower than banqueting tables and are used to create a space for magazines and cups in an informal settings.
We also offer outdoor tables which are more durable and reliable in the great British climate. These are generally made of metal to keep them rain resistant.
How does delivery of table hire work?
We clean and check all tables for hire before we ready them for dispatch. Banqueting tables come with folding legs so these are easy to store; however other tables are generally not stackable so it is always worth checking there is space if you need to store them at any point.
It’s also worth noting that the bigger tables don’t fit in a standard car, so if you’re coming to collect from us this must be borne in mind.
